March 17 10:00am to 4:00pm Southern California
The artistic nude is a very old and accepted topic in art. Many photographers aspire to be able to do nude work, but many never get the opportunity. Worry about where to get models, or fear of offending them by asking stop many right out of the gate. Is there a polite way to ask a girl to take her clothes off? Next, composition, lighting, and how to direct poses affect the image quality. How do you talk with the model? What poses look best for them? Here is an opportunity to learn.
March 17 10:00am to 4:00pm at a residence in the South Bay area of Los Angeles California. We will be putting on a Nude Photography workshop. This will start out with a presentation going over the typical issues with getting models, directing, lighting and composition. This will be followed with a chance to work with several models. We are planning both male and female. Assistance and tips will be available.
The number of models hired will be contingent on the sign ups, so preregistration is required, and cancellations won't be possible. This is not an adult content shoot, it is an opportunity to learn a classic art form with real models. Portfolio use of images will be ok, but other uses will require a model release from the model.
The cost is $70 per photographer, our ability to support walk ins is limited since we need to make sure there are enough models ahead of time. We may also cut off registration if there are too many photographers, so if you would like to attend, don't wait to sign up.
